It’s at this point in the season where we begin to get bored and tired of the cold weather, lack of sun and all the snow.  We are lucky to be located in an awesome town with so much to do with the kiddos! Spend a day in Guelph with these awesome ideas.

Children’s Art Factory

Located at 37 Yarmouth St in Guelph, the Children’s Art Factory is all about getting creative!  The drop-in art studio allows children to explore many different types of art, changing their sensory activity weekly to keep things fresh and exciting.  This sounds like a great place to seriously engage in play and get lost in the world of art!

One Axe Pursuits

Hop in the car for a few minutes and you’ll find One Axe Pursuits! Located at 24 Henderson St in Elora One Axe Pursuits is for the all the adventurers out there.  Step out of your comfort zone and learn to zipline, ice climb or rappel! While these activities are geared towards older children, there are programs for beginners. Burn off all that pent up energy and spend some time exploring the outdoors in Elora (which just so happens to be a beautiful town!).

Guelph Public Library

The library is always a great place to visit. The Guelph Public Library is located at 100 Norfolk Street, offering many programs for kids and teens.  Not only that, there is access to homework help, computers, ebooks and a kids club!
